Welcome Friends
The Halfmoon Democratic Committee (HDC) is responsible for promoting a democratic platform, nominating candidates for Town and County positions, and coordinating organizational activities such as fundraising and campaign strategy. We are a small but active group looking for new ways to engage our growing communities.
These are exciting times to be a Democrat in Halfmoon. The number of enrolled Democrats is growing faster than the number of enrolled Republicans. With Democrat successes in neighboring Clifton Park, southern Saratoga County is getting more attention. As we go forward, we are looking forward to electing more individuals on the Democratic line to bring new ideas to local government and better serve our community.

Upcoming Events
The 2026 petitioning period runs from February 24 through April 2. Volunteers will be knocking on doors to obtain signatures for candidates and election district representatives throughout the month.
